Love & Other Drugs
2010. Rated R. 1hr 52min

Summary:
Set in the 1990s, the movie follows a man named Jamie (Jake Gyllenhaal) who is a charming salesman. He sells drugs to doctors and promotes the new medication Viagra. He’s successful because of his persistance and good looks. While actively trying to sell to a doctor, he pretends to be an intern while the doctor takes a patient.
The patient is a woman named Maggie (Anne Hathaway), who is being checked up on something where she is partially undressed which created a flirt between the two of them from the start. After Maggie calls him out for not being a doctor, they get into a no strings attached relationship.
Maggie has early onset Parkinsons Disease that she tries to manage privately, it’s one of the reasons she wants no strings attached to her relationship with Jamie. But after spending so much time together, Maggie falls for Jamies charm.
Jamie becomes obsessed with trying to find solutions for Maggies illness, but she hates how much effort and attention he’s giving to it. So conflict begins and the couple must decide if they fight through their future together or seperate.
If you’re a fan of emotional romances, romantic dramas, real life issues, and funny movies then WATCH THIS!!!
My rating: 10/10
Why I rate it this way?… It was the perfect combination of funny, drama filled, emotional, heart warming, a little serious but still so funny and cute. I truly don’t know how I’ve been living the past 10 years without have seen this. It should be a classic that everybody watches.
This movie is very high on my list of favorite movies I’ve seen ever. You must watch it.
